Well, according to my doctor, I have some issues that need to be taken care of. And by issues I mean health problems. We have the normal discussions about what I need to do to fix these issues, and then I go home and think, "How do I make myself do this?" Well, I guess I'll just have to DO IT, as President Spencer W. Kimball used to say. I love him by the way. He was great. For those who don't know who he is, he was one of our Presidents of the LDS church.
So here is what I have been working on. Maybe by writing this down where everyone can see it I might be a little bit more motivated. I get on my treadmill every morning while the kids are getting ready for school. They get themselves ready, so I don't have to do it. I walk for 30 minutes every day Monday thru Friday and give myself the weekends off. I have to watch my carbs, so I count carbs. 50gm of carbs a meal and a 15gm snack between meals. Now, I'm not perfect at this, but I'm trying hard. Did I tell you that B and I are having a contest to see who can lose 20 lbs? It's anybodys guess who will win. So this is my health plan and I'm hoping it works.
And just a little comment about the weather. "WHY DOES WINTER HAVE TO COME?"
